my view

This is my daily view ...

mushrooms?

Barb has some visitors in her iris ... are they more iris or something more like mushroom?

little big ricky

My dad at age 14 (1954). Dad - do you know the location?

And here he is again ... what year and location?

Good looking man ... it's easy to see where I get it from.

I was tempted to remove the colorization but that was the style then so I kept it.

mr coffee

Man! Mister Coffee needs some cleaning ...

piano teacher

My mom died far too young. I love her and still miss her very much. Here's a scan of a business card she had made after she and dad moved to KC ... she should have had a lot of years left to do this. I'm very proud of her. It says here she was a piano teacher ... she was much, much more.

Ok, stop crying [that was to myself] ... here's a photo that I'm guessing is her high school graduation picture. Does anyone know the city and date? I'm guessing 1958.

Update from dad: My sweetheart graduated in June 1959. She attended Weehawkin High School, located in Weehawken, NJ. Reason is that the town she live in, North Bergen, NJ, did not have their own high school. For the senior prom I took her to the Copacabana in New York City. My car was a 1957 Chevy, 4 door hardtop convertible, 8 cylinder, standard trans, copper color. We looked good in that car - by the way anyone driving behind us would have thought there was a two headed driver driving the car. By the way, she was not a piano player - she was a pianist - big difference. You are right, she left us at too young an age. I miss her very much - not a day goes by that tears don't come to my eyes when I think of her.

1953 north bergen

Here's quite a crew in North Bergen, NJ, 1953.

According to Uncle Joe (my mom's brother); Lower extreme right Richie Moore, Left of him Donnie (Augie and Ann's son). Behind Donnie is Ronnie Moore. Sandy is in the middle of upper row to the left of the girl with the big bow. Extreme left in the upper row is Patti (deceased - Augie's daughter).

marcello

This Marcello Pesciotta, my mother Sandy's father Steven's father (1949). Does anyone know the location and who else is in the picture?

Update: the pigtail girl is my mom Sandy. This would put her at 9 years old.

pietro

I'm going to need someone to draw a family tree but as best I can tell, pictured here is Pietro Greco who is my father's (Rick) father's (Joseph) brother's (Mario) wife's (Mary?) father. And I do not know the year ... but I like the picture which was cleaned-up by Mario Ianniello - not my brother Mario - but the son of Mario (who my brother is named after) and Mary(?).

Update: I got the following from my dad ... and now you can see why I'm confused ...

Rick, I think you are a little mixed up with the relatives.

Pietro Greco is the father of my Uncle Roy Greco (husband of Anna Ianniello - my dad's sister) and my Aunt Mary (wife of Mario Ianniello - my dad's brother). So my Aunt Mary and my Uncle Roy are brother and sister.

Uncle Roy and Aunt Anna had four children - Peter, Eric, Annette, & Amelia.

Uncle Mario and Aunt Mary had children but to be honest I forgot how many and their names. The only ones I remember are Mario, Barbara Sue, & Terry. Not sure of the others.

Got it?

My add ... yep, I'm my own grandpa ...
